CHAIR OF HYDRO-TECHNICAL CONSTRUCTIONS

  For 7 years now and within the framework of the project "Volga-Rein" and "Rebirth of Volga" the department has maintained contacts with the Friedrich University in Karlsruhe, Germany (Water Economy Institute".
 
Research on the project is conducted in 4 directions:
 
· Development of computer models of hydro-structures;
· Development of recommendations for restoration of hydro-structures;
· Development of control systems;
· Methods of determination of side inflow.
 
In 2004 the department is starting collaboration with the St Ishtvan University in Gedelle, Hungary.
