Department of Complex Use of Water Resources
Academic work includes lectures, seminars, course assignments, graphic design, laboratory practice, supervision.
Main subjects:
- Complex use and protection of water resources
- Design of water management systems
- Fundamentals of use of natural resources
- Renewable energy sources
- Hydro-electro stations and energo-complexes
- Restoration of water bodies
- Combined regulation of surface and ground waters (elective course)
- Fundamentals of hydrophysics
The department teaches students of construction specialties and ecology-melioration orientation. In the graduation specialty "Complex use and protection of water resources" the number of graduates is 30-40 a year; on HES specialty - 10.
The main task of the department as a graduating one can be phrased as follows: preparation of specialists in water economy and hydrotechnical construction, future leading project engineers and specialist in substantiation of water economy projects.
