Every year about 30 students present their diplomas. The topics of the projects are related to complex use and protection of water resources, regulation and redistribution of resources, protection from floods, optimization of regimes of reservoirs, complex energy complexes, design and construction of hydro-electric stations.

In 2001, 2002 and 2003 students E. Yu. Kolesnikova, A.M. Bakshtanin, E.A. Smirnova, M.V. Shin, M.S. Yashkova, E.S. Tretyuhina, E.V Ruchkina, E.V. Akimova, A.Yu Afanas'ev were awarded diplomas and prizes for the best projects.
