| The following subjects are taught in the department: · Fundamentals of rational use of natural resources · Complex use and protection of water resources · Hydroelectric stations and energo-complexes · Renewable energy sources · Design and management of water economy systems · Restoration of water bodies The main purpose of the department, as a graduating one, consists in the preparation of broad profile specialists in the area of water economy and hydrotechnical construction, future head engineers of large projects. The most successful of the students are invited to participate in research programs and after the graduation - to continue in postgraduate studies. The graduates are employed in the system of state organizations of the corresponding ministries, R&D institutions and private companies building large structures in Russia and abroad.. |
