The department maintains creative links with tertiary institutions and organizations of CIS and other countries: Cuba, Iraq, Cambodia, Syria, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland. Many of the staff have spent some time working in these countries and continue their contacts with the scientists of the countries. For example Prof. N.T. Kaveshnikov has worked 5 years in Iraq in the construction of large water economy structures in Euphrates river and 6 years in the Cambodia University. He was also invited by UNESCO to work in that University as a volunteer. Docent P.Z. Metelskii has also spent 2 years in the Agricultural Institute of Cambodia . |
