Diploma Assignments

The number of graduates varies from 25 to 39 a year. Every teacher is responsible for two or three students. In 2002 twenty four students graduated in ICE and four in SOT. The topics of the projects are quite diverse and involve design of buildings and structures for industrial, public and environmental purposes. Functionally they can be divided as follows: Specialty ICE. 1. Buildings of sport, public and commercial complexes. 2. One- and multi-storey frame buildings. 3. Buildings and structures for agricultural purposes. 4. Reconstruction of buildings and structures. Specialty SOT. 1. Buildings and structures for environmental purposes. 2. Ecological reconstruction residential and public buildings. In the diploma projects provisions for use of metal, armored concrete and masonry structures as well as structures using plastic material are made. Special attention is paid to the use of light metal and wooden structures. During the design of industrial and public buildings the functional requirements and technological processes are taken into account. |
