Student Research

Student research in the department of Hydraulics has a diverse orientation. The students also participate in various contractual projects of the department and in the Research Society of the department.   The Research Society has been in existence for many years. Most of the academic staff of the department participates in its activities as scientific supervisors. Professor, DSc I.I. Agroskin, Docent, Dr. A. A. Andreyevskaya, Docent, Dr. Panova, Professor, DSc D.V. Shterenliht, Professor, DSc O. M. Aivazyan, Docent, Dr. N.N. Kremenetsky, Docent, Dr. N.A. Gretsova, Professor, DSc. V.M. Alyshev, Professor, Dr. L.V. Yakovleva, Docent, Dr. Z.I. Akimova and other members of the staff were all active participants in the work of the Society.   Very important was the contribution of Angelina Vasilyevna - the Head of the Society for many years.   Students of the department participated, distinguishing themselves, in many Conferences.   Many teachers of MSUEE in their student years also participated in the work of the Society. The Head of the Hydraulics department, Professor, DSc, Honored Scientist of RF D.V. Shterenliht; Chancellor of MSUEE, Professor, DSc, Honored Scientist of RF I.S. Rumyantsev; Professor, Dr. L.V. Yakovleva; Docent, Dr. Z.I. Akimova are only some of them.   The best student papers were published in the Works of MSUEE. The results of students G. Reizman and N. Mashinistova, performed under the supervision of O.M. Aivazyan were published in the textbook "Hydraulics" (authors I.I. Agroskin, G.T. Dmitriev, F. I. Pikalov).   Currently the Student Society is led by Professor, DSc V.M. Alyshev.   Some of the most recent student papers are:   Yu. V. Arkhireeva, A.V.
