TRACTORS AND AUTOMOBILES

Education

Academic staff of the department conduct studies with the students of Mechanical, Ecologo-Melioration and Construction Faculties.   Mechanical Faculty:   - Construction and calculations of transport machinery - Construction, calculations and application properties of transport machinery - Traffic regulations - Heat technology - Fuel and lubricants - Operational materials - Fundamentals of driving and road safety - Tractors and automobiles - Functional processes of propulsion system   Ecologo-Melioration and Construction Faculties:   - Heat technology   Some selected courses are also available.   After the third year students have some practice in driving and servicing tractors and ameliorative machinery. After the practice the students are qualified as tractor-drivers and specialists of agricultural machines.   The staff is also supervising the course and diploma assignments on the subjects taught in the department.   To improve the educational process a PC Centre with the appropriate software is functioning in the department.   The staff of the department participated in the development of the state educational standards of higher professional education and programs for the subjects taught by the department.
