DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY

    The department of ameliorative soil science, land management and chemistry first functioned in 1939. The Chemistry course was taught by Prof. L.E. Uspensky (1939- 1943), then Prof. S.N. Aleshin (1943-1954). The department has been functioning solely as Chemistry department since 1979. The department was led by Docent N.V. Kuznetsova, Docent G.N. Sycheva (since 1985).
 
At various times the department employed:
 
Docents - B.F. Kaleganov (1946-1964), Z.A. Kruchinina (1944-1959), Ter-Shmaonov (1966-1974), E.E. Tormasova (1969-2001), E.M. Tomareva (1974-2001), R.G. Iksanov (1976-1993);
 
Educational Master - A.N. Mikhal'chuk (1949-1985);
 
Senior Lab Assistants - G.A. Panaiti (1951-1964), G.V. Panarina (1964-1974).
