1. Planning of the Educational Process
1.1 Coordination of the activities on the preparation of the Educational Plans by Faculty, specialty, orientation.
1.2 Development of a plan of measures on Educational and Methodological issues for the preparation of the University to a new academic year.
1.3 Preparation of all necessary for the Educational Process Documentation.
1.4 Distribution and control over the teaching grounds.
1.5 Preparation of the Educational and Examination program.
1.6 Calculation of the workload, preparation of assignments for the Chairs, preparation of the draft resolution on the Academic staff of the Chairs.
1.7 Preparation of resolutions and announcements about competitions on Academic vacancies.
1.8 Preparation of suggestions on Scholarships in the Faculties and control of the preparation of corresponding documentation.
2. Control of the Educational Process
2.1 Control of the Academic Program and utilization of the halls, laboratories and other facilities.
2.2 Control of the course of the EP and analysis of the results of the Exams.
2.3 Analysis of the  progress and drop-out of students.
2.4 Ensure that the students are provided with the text-books and other teaching aids.
2.5 Ensure that the State Exams and presentation of the Diplomas are carried out appropriately. Prepare the corresponding Documentation.
2.6 Ensure that the new forms of education are implemented, including computers in the EP and control of the EP.
2.7 Control of the development of the Laboratories.
2.8 Control of the planning the workload of the Academic staff.
3.Organizational Work

    MSUEE consists of: 4 full-time on-Campus education Faculties; Deanery for the students acquiring Bachelor's and Master's Degrees; Faculties of Distance Education, Professional Development; Department for assistance to foreign students; Faculty of Pre-University Studies, 38 chairs, 9 IT Centers; Research and Administrative Departments; PhD and DSc Sections; Problem, Educational and Special Laboratories; Educational shooting grounds and bases in Moscow and Tver' Regions; two branches of the Chairs in the Industry; Editorial and Publishing, Patents and Licenses departments; Polygraphic Laboratory and other Academic, Scientific and Administrative subsections.

    Ecological education is a serious part of educational process of the University. The Study Plans of the Specialties contain such Subjects as "Ecology and Biology", "Ecological Engineering", "Theoretical Foundations of the Preservation of Nature",  "Monitoring of the Environment and Inspection of Territories", "Technology of Restoration of Quality of the Environment", "Ecological Expertise", "Ecological Law", "Economics of the Use of Nature", "Modeling of the Environmental Processes".
    The educational plans include such disciplines as "Utilization of Waste", "Cleaning and Maintenance of Reservoirs", "Water Quality Improvement".
    In the main stream of educational process a time is allocated for in-depth study of disciplines of Humanitarian, Socio-Economic, Mathematical and Natural Sciences cycles.
    Within the framework of the given disciplines the students arrange by themselves the direction of their specialized educational program. This allows the students to master such profiled disciplines as "Architectural Ecology", "Rational Ecology", "Ecological Audit of Technogenic objects", "Ecological Problems of Recreational and Sanitary Objects".
    The university maintains a modern Informational Base. The constant improvement and acquisition of new programs and equipment is an on-going process in all spheres of activities of the University.
    Professional Practice is taking place in the Educational Bases, Laboratories and various Organizations.

- every year a "Fair of Vacancies" for students of the 4th  and 5th years is taking place;
- contracts with interested organizations and enterprises are signed.
